And founded ESA: European Space Agency.
While some were trying to figure out what exactly ABBA meant by “Mamma Mia,” a handful of Europeans in lab coats and interstellar dreams got together and said:
“Let’s stop competing and start launching rockets together.”
Yeah, back in 1975, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, and some friends signed the treaty that created ESA — kind of like a European Union for Space Nerds™, ready to explore the cosmos with style and distinct accents.
